LTspice 24 is the next release, following 17.1.15, which it replaces. Having them both on a PC is not recommended, because they'll mess with each other. This is particularly important because LTspice 24 changes the way the standard libraries are treated. The goal is to put an end to the chaos that has resulted many times from editing / merging those files. Also note that this pre-release is no beta version.
